Finally.... the forum is back in to action.
Sorry to have all of you kept waiting for such a long time, and I can assure you it was not our wish to do so.
The upgrade of the forum was stuck, and the advise we could find was to click every 30 seconds until it would progress.... no such luck even after 1544 minutes.
In the end we decided to perform the upgrade manually on a test database, and then uploading it here.
Well... its done. |

We have been workin on getting the new site ready for some time, but the recent forum problem needed us to make an upgrade of the forum software.
As you might have noticed, it went very wrong. As we made good backups of all data, there was nothing lost. However somehow the forum software did not accept the upgrade from the database at once.
As a result we present you the (still crude) new site.
We are also working on getting the forum back in to shape, and will not rest until it has been managed.
In the mean time, please read the message regarding Paruni needing your support.
We know that this year has not been the best so far, and we are working to change this around, with the help of all loyal members. |

It is not often that I appear, and when it means there is something.
If you want to have full explanations, please go in to the chat to meet our leaders.
Currently the 'old' servers are still displaying lagg, and while we are testing several settings we do not know if on this hardware it can be solved. However when we made the decision to change to this hardware, we made a commitment for 6 months that we can not break.
If our players wish to keep the current servers which were opened on Verygames, that means that we will need donations from players to keep them open. In 2 days, April 13, they will be closed unless we can gather enough to keep them open.
Also for the coming months, at least until September, we would need to continue having a donation target of 60 Euro monthly. Remember we spend this money only to keep the servers open and improving.
Should the donations amount rise to Eur 150 monthly, we can add new hardware that will surely compete directly with the Verygames servers. However until we have the financial means we can not add this.
In our history we have spent a lot of money and effort to keep Paruni open and make it our home. Now its up to our community to contribute. |
